The Scott Perry amendment to H. R. 5894 halves funding for the National Labor Relations Board by reducing its appropriation from $200,000,000 to $100,000,000. The NLRB has, historically, been a major agitator on behalf of unions. Its authority has transformed the government into a weapon for union bosses to wield against businesses. CPAC supports the defunding of the corrupt bargain between unions and the government and supported this amendment. The House defeated this amendment on November 15, 2023 by a vote of 169-257.
