New Idaho Scorecard Reveals Divide Within GOP
Awards to be Presented to Top-Scoring Idaho Lawmakers at CPAC

ALEXANDRIA, VA (January 6, 2022)— As Idaho kicks off its legislative session next week, CPAC and the ACUF’s latest Idaho legislative shows the legislative body becoming more conservative as a whole. While the report found a significant divide still exists among the GOP in adherence to conservative principles, it also found several Idaho lawmakers made significant improvements in voting with the conservative position.

As a result, Idaho’s overall conservative ranking rose to 69.9% in 2021, a 14 percentage point improvement over the prior two years (55.8% in 2020, 56.6% in 2019).
