JD Vance Says It’s ‘Astonishing’ For Kamala Harris To Say There’s No US Service Members In Harm’s Way

Republican Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance said that Vice President Kamala Harris' claim that there are no U.S. service members in harm's way makes her unfit for

CPAC sends letter to Gov. Holcomb opposing his veto of HB 1041

The Conservative Political Action Coalition (CPAC) released the following letter that was mailed to Governor Eric Holcomb (R-IN) following his veto of HB 1041, which would protect the integrity of women’s sports.

Dear Gov. Holcomb:
We at the Conservative Political Action Coalition (CPAC) were very disheartened to see the news early this week regarding your veto of HB 1041, which we view as common-sense legislation to protect the integrity of women’s sports. While we appreciate your strong record on pro-life and Second Amendment issues, this veto stands out as a stain on your record.
Across the country we have seen the radical gender politics of the Woke Left infiltrate all facets of our lives. The NCAA, headquartered in Indianapolis, is a radicalized arm of the Left that has tried to change society and destroy American values and traditions. We have publicly rebuked the NCAA (see attached letter) for abandoning female athletes. With your veto, you have sided with the corporate NCAA over young women in Indiana.
This comes at a time when two great institutions in your state, the University of Notre Dame and Indiana University, are competing in the Women’s Basketball Sweet 16. Without this policy, we could soon see a day where young women in Indiana lose roster spots, scholarships, and opportunities to biological men because of the lack of legislative protections contained in HB 1041.
We have directed our activist network to encourage members of the legislature to do the right thing and override your disgraceful veto. We trust that all legislators will exercise common sense and stand with their constituents by passing this necessary policy to protect opportunities for women.
