ACU Endorses Rik Mehta

The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced its endorsement of Rik Mehta for election in New Jersey to the United States Senate.

“Rik Mehta is driven to give the people of New Jersey a Senator they can be proud of,” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp. “As a pharmacist and a lawyer, Rik worked hard at the FDA to keep illegal drugs off our streets and demonstrated the strong leadership that New Jersey needs. Today, Rik understands the unique challenges that New Jersey faces and knows it’s time to reverse the harmful and radical policies that are being implemented. A strong conservative, Rik wants to lead the way on fixing our healthcare system, criminal justice reform, and protecting Americans’ right to life and bear arms. ACU urges all voters in New Jersey to vote for Rik Mehta for the United States Senate.”

Founded in 1964, the American Conservative Union (ACU) is the nation’s original conservative organization. For more than fifty years, ACU has served as an umbrella organization harnessing the collective strength of conservative organizations fighting for Americans who are concerned with liberty, personal responsibility, traditional values, and strong national defense. As one of America’s premier conservative voices, ACU promotes a conservative vision on issues before Congress, the Executive Branch, State Legislatures, the media, political candidates, and the public.
