ACU Endorses Mike Carey

Alexandria, VA – The American Conservative Union (ACU) today announced its endorsement of Mike Carey for election in Ohio’s 15th congressional district.

“Mike Carey is the type of leader we need more of in Congress.” said ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp. “As a conservative outsider, Mike has the dedication and drive required to take on the Radical Left’s agenda in Washington. Working for over twenty years in America’s energy industry, Mike knows first-hand the importance of energy security and understands what it takes to create jobs and strengthen the economy.”

“I have known Mike for years and he has always exemplified conservative values.” added ACU Board Member Matt Smith. “Mike is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and believes in protecting the lives of the Unborn. ACU is proud to endorse Mike Carey and encourage all in the district to vote for him this upcoming election.”

Founded in 1964, the American Conservative Union (ACU) is the nation’s original conservative organization.  For more than fifty years, ACU has served as an umbrella organization harnessing the collective strength of conservative organizations fighting for Americans who are concerned with liberty, personal responsibility, traditional values, and strong national defense.  As one of America’s premier conservative voices, ACU promotes a conservative vision on issues before Congress, the Executive Branch, State Legislatures, the media, political candidates, and the public.
