For example, it requires such employers to prepare exact measures of the quotas that employees must meet. It then requires employers to designate a reasonable amount of rest time for the quotas that are set. CPAC does not believe that the government should micromanage warehouses and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 22, 2023 by a vote of 28-21 and the bill later became law. This revenue would then be used to fund tourist promotion activities and build convention and entertainment facilities. CPAC opposes such increases in taxes, believes that the government should not involve itself in tourism promotion activities, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on November 8, 2023 by a vote of 25-10.     CPAC and ACUF Release Scorecard of Idaho Lawmakers The American Conservative Union Foundation conducts an annual, in-depth analysis to rate all 8,000 lawmakers in America, revealing their positions on a wide variety of issues directly affecting our communities and families. New Idaho Scorecard Reveals Divide Within GOP Awards to be Presented to Top-Scoring Idaho Lawmakers at CPAC ALEXANDRIA, VA (January 6, 2022) — As Idaho kicks off its legislative session next week, CPAC and the ACUF’s latest Idaho legislative shows the legislative body becoming more conservative as a whole. While the report found a significant divide still exists among the GOP in adherence to conservative principles, it also found several Idaho lawmakers made significant improvements in voting with the conservative position. As a result, Idaho’s overall conservative ranking rose to 69.9% in 2021, a 14 percentage point improvement over the prior two years (55.8% in 2020, 56.6% in 2019). Click Here to view the 2021 Ratings of Idaho This year ACU will be inviting 48 Idaho legislators to receive awards for their conservative voting records at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) taking place in Orlando, Florida from February 24-27, 2022. To earn an invitation, a lawmaker must vote with the conservative position at least 80% of the time, as calculated by the American Conservative Union Foundation’s Center for Legislative Accountability.
